Steel Tower at Tillamook Cheese Factory
Men admire the man who can organize their wishes and thoughts in stone and wood and steel and brass. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
This is a steel tower I built while working at Aloha Welding. When it was finished it had to be trucked 70 miles to the Tillamook Cheese Factory at the Oregon coast. I stamped the initials of myself and my family in it on the upper cross member and the next time my family visited Tillamook we took some binoculars along to see if we could spot our stamped initials, but I don't remember if we were able to.
